Project Info
A US-based sports equipment brand needed a launch video for their new racket line that would do two things simultaneously: show the product's design in detail and communicate what it's made of. Not a lifestyle video, not an athlete campaign. A precise, premium explainer that treated the racket itself as the hero. The brief called for a 3D motion approach with a clear product-first perspective.
Key Details
We built a full photorealistic 3D model of the racket from technical specifications, with accurate material rendering across every component: carbon fibre weave on the frame, string tension, grip texture and ferrule detail. The video uses a controlled camera choreography (orbiting, penetrating, decomposing) to reveal the racket's construction layer by layer. Each shot was storyboarded and client-approved before production, ensuring the final edit matched the intended explainer structure exactly.
Result
The client received a product launch asset that worked across e-commerce, social media and trade presentations. CGI gave the brand something live-action product shoots rarely deliver: the ability to show inside and through the product, not just around it. The client was fully satisfied with both the quality and the process.
