Maori Jewels

Project Info
Maori Jewels needed photorealistic CGI product visuals to represent their fine jewelry collections across digital channels and e-commerce. The brief focused on achieving the highest possible fidelity in representing the craftsmanship of each piece — capturing the warmth of gold, the clarity of stones and the precision of engraving work in a format that could be produced efficiently across a large range of products.
Key Details
MAD CGI produced a series of CGI product renders for Maori Jewels, building each piece as a detailed 3D model with physically-based material properties. The rendering pipeline was optimised for jewelry — with particular attention to light interaction on metallic surfaces, stone translucency and the fine detail of surface textures. Each visual was produced across multiple lighting setups to give the brand flexibility in how the assets were used across different contexts.
Result
Maori Jewels received a comprehensive library of CGI product visuals that became the foundation of their digital visual identity. The images were deployed across e-commerce listings, social media and digital advertising, where they outperformed previous photography-based assets in click-through rate and conversion. The brand gained the ability to produce new product visuals from existing 3D assets within days rather than weeks, dramatically improving their speed to market for new collections.
